NZQA (for students) – check out NZQA’s mobile app called NCEA Student to help you plan your NCEA study programme, set goals and track your progress – and find out all you need to know about NCEA.

New Zealand research

National Library of New Zealand – an excellent resource for researching anything about New Zealand, including historical images from the Alexander Turnbull Library.

Digital NZ – gain access to digital content, such as pictures, sounds and objects, from New Zealand’s museums, galleries and libraries.

Newspaper and magazine articles

Index New Zealand – you can request New Zealand newspaper and magazine articles for free through the National Library. Contact your school librarian if you need help.

EPIC Online - Te Kura has access to EPIC – an initiative by New Zealand libraries to give New Zealand schools access to a worldwide range of online resources, including international and New Zealand articles from magazines, newspapers and encyclopaedias. Contact the library for logon instructions.

NZ History Online – a site dedicated to New Zealand history, including an excellent media library.

Studyit – a one-stop site for achieving in NCEA maths, English and science.

Te Ara: The Encyclopedia of New Zealand – a comprehensive guide to New Zealand history, people, natural environment, history, culture, economy and society.
