Fees
There are no enrolment fees for students who meet the Ministry of Education’s funded enrolment criteria.
Your circumstances determine if you can enrol at Te Kura as a fee-paying student.

Full-time and young adult students
There are no fees for full-time students and young adults aged 16 to 19 who are not attending another school.
If you turn 20 years old during the enrolment year you must apply as an adult student.
Adult students
Adult students aged 20 years and over pay $116 administration fee per course. There are no administration fees for Te Reo Māori and Kaupapa Māori courses, these are free.
If the administration fee is a barrier to study with Te Kura, Work and Income may be able to help.
Home education
Students under 16 years old with a Ministry of Education Certificate of Exemption to be home schooled may be able to enrol with us as a fee-paying student.
If you are 16 to 19 years old, you may qualify for no fees under our full-time and young adult categories. If you turn 20 years old during the enrolment year, you must apply as an adult student.
